Congo After-School Program

For many of the children who attend our after-school program in Bukavu, the meal they receive at Serenity House Africa is the only nutritious meal they will eat that day.

Every afternoon, our leased community center becomes a safe place where children can leave the dangers of the streets behind. They receive tutoring to help them succeed in school, caring mentorship from trusted adults, and the opportunity to simply be kids.

Beyond academics, children participate in creative activities like painting, learn practical skills such as sewing, and build confidence through friendships and encouragement. We also provide clothing and other basic necessities to families facing the greatest need.

Your support helps keep our center open, provides meals, educational support, life-skills training, and a place where vulnerable children can experience hope, safety, and the love of a caring community.
